Navarrico chickpeas are produced in Navarra, the garden of Northern Spain. These are premium chickpeas have a rich, nutty flavor and thin, tender skins. They are prepared with only water and a little salt – cooked in the same manner as the Spanish do at home. Healthy as well as delicious, they are a rich in protein and particularly high in dietary fibre. Nutty and creamy, these chickpeas are a great store cupboard standby for mixed bean salads and vegetable stews.
